Kim Schafer

Kim Schafer is the President and Founder of BringThings, Inc., and the Ring Thing is her design and dream. She started working on the RIng Thing design in 2013 while working as a research administrator at an academic institution. The Ring Thing concept came to Kim as she went to nail salons to get her nails done and needed to remove her rings. There was never a convenient place to put them, and in many salons there was no bowl available, or any safe place to put rings. She felt there must be a better way, and the Ring Thing was born. Her first design in 2013 was made from paper, and the concept grew from there. Kim also worked out at a boxing gym and needed to take off her rings to glove up, as did many of her fellow boxers. As she told friends about the Ring Thing, more uses came to light – the need for the Ring Thing became more apparent.

Kim has obtained three patents for the Ring Thing design, as well as a trademark for the name.

BringThings, Inc. was born of need and passion and we are delighted to be in business and serve others.
